Our local Aldi are selling a processor controlled battery charger/ reconditioner for £13.99.
Ideal for keeping battery toped up.
I have fitted a socket to rear bulkhead so it is easy to plug in.

Sounds a bit cheap for an 'intelligent' charger.
I hope they are safe, from a fire safety stand point, because it will be live day and night probably for the whole winter..possibly in damp conditions.
Just a thought!

Lidl have them on sale as from tomorrow (Thursday) for £14.99 .
I have one and it seems to work just as well as my CTEK one.

I have one and it seems to work just as well as my CTEK one. Yes, but mine does not restart loading the battery after a power loss. //Bosse

I bought one last year and it does the job very well. I can't see there is much difference between that and the CTEK one which costs considerably more. I think I paid about £12-13 from memory.

I have used a Lidl one (12.99) for two winters and it works very well with no problems.

I have an Optimate which is mounted to my garage wall, so I can charge both the Morgan and bike.
Good bit of kit.
Both vehicles have fused connectors fitted and the Optimate is wired through a power-breaker. Belt and braces maybe, but those batteries are expensive.

Just bought 3 Aldi chargers - seemed too good not to. So far only used one but very pleased with instructions and operation of the charger.
And if they turn out to be no good, I've got a couple of Christmas presents for my wife's family members.
