Dear all: 792 miles on my 2012 3-Wheeler, after 10 days of ownership. Some minor rattles, but I have noticed that idling in traffic leads to what sounds like an engine misfire, which then goes away once normal driving has resumed. Anyone else experienced this?

Very cool! I'm excited to see so many guys Stateside taking delivery of them...looking forward to hearing the different reviews. Sorry to hear about the idle issue - as I understand, these X-wedge engines run rough as part of their nature? but a misfire does not sound like the norm.

Don't worry, it's meant to do that to stop it overheating when there is no airflow past the cylinders, it's going into 'skipfire' mode. Do you find you get much kickback through the steering wheel on bumpy roads taken at speed?

Alex - saw your photo and instantly thought, if TalkMorgan had a category of 'Photo of the Week' you would get it. When my 16 year old son saw it his words were "Wicked. I can't wait to go to New York".

Welcome Alex As Paul has said the skip fire is a design feature torrent overheating , it is strange and feels like he car will stall as you pull away. Must admit that if mine starts I tend to switch off the engine. I'd love to hear how the 3 wheeler has gone down in the big apple, and how you're finding the driving experience.

As has been said, sounds very much like skip-fire mode, which is a feature in-built into the M3W to stop the engine overheating in traffic.
