Interesting read! Thanks. thumbs
Not sure about air horns though - they take to long to give any sound, even with a very short air pipe. I prefer Fiamm twintones as fitted to many motorcycles. Instant, loud!, sound. I fitted them to my 4/4...

Cheers,

I think we'll have to ban reports like this --- it is really depressing to us poor sods who can only dream of a 3 wheeler and continue to do the lotto!!!!!!!!!! gloomy

Seriously though I hope you have many happy miles in it -- I drove the factory car last May and I can only describe it as "mental" You are a lucky blighter!!!!!

Ta - and Graham, you're quite right. I like the sound of the horns you mention and will check 'em out.

Yep, a good accurate write up and summation Wiscos. You are right about the cowl fixing being a huge pita, I keep looking at other fixings, but haven't come up with a better idea.......yet.

I've strapped my toolkit on top of my battery with a couple of small aerolastics, which gets rid of one more thing, and have solved the problem of where to put all the small clobber, like phone, gloves, keys, sun glasses etc etc by making a small parcel shelf that runs the width of the car and sits on the trans. tunnel.

The horn is hopeless, and the switch could do with an easier location to hit it quickly.

As the rev counter is masked by the steering wheel, I swapped the speedo and rev counter around, as I feel is is more important to read the rev counter personally. I've always got a pretty good idea how fast I'm going.

Pictures please.........

My kids think the standard horn makes the poor little trike sound like Brum.

I've bought some heavy duty velcro (takes a 15kg load) and was thinking about securing the toolkit with that under the cowl thing. But then I thought what would I do with the cowl if I needed to get access to the tools and didn't have a nice soft blanket to put the cowl on. If I need to carry the blanket on board just in case that takes up as much space as the toolkit.

My funny old logic doesn't really seem to be helping here.

There is a car around with modified fixings for the cowl - I saw some pictures. Looked like a well engineered solution but they were rather large fixings and required drilling of both cowl and body.

I'm awaiting the little Einstein who comes up with something else! Perhaps a long run of my sticky 15kg velcro would hold the cowl on for most of the time... (immediately thinking of lots of horrible scenarios that rubbish this particular idea)... Next!!.......

Heh! How about a reality tv show for designers to come up with solutions to some of the more interesting Morgan foibles and fiddles???

Simple solution to this one turn the toneau upside down and use that, just the right size. I've also got a John Taylor rain over which is held in place under the dash with a bungee which can be used for the same purpose

This might be the car Charles did the Gumball in if so they are pins. I'm going to spend some time at the NEC at the classic in a few weeks and this is one of the things I want to look at.
