Hi everybody.
I really hope some of you can guide me in the right direction. I am swapping from a 4-speed Rover box to a reconditioned 5-speed R380 which have no speedo gear supplied.
I know there are several different options all depending on your configuration (speedo type, diff.ratio, wheel size a.s.o.).
I have tried Rimmer Bros, Ashcroft, Melwyn Rutter, and Speedo Cables but, so far to no avail.
I am aware that I can get an electronic speedo, but I want to my budget down if possible.
Thanking in advance for somebody's help, please

I am not sure if there is any mileage in sourcing one from Landrover and if the info in thess manuals are of any help

Also this forum's comments may help

Once you have found an equivalent car model then looking at Ebay seems to be a good place to look for the Speedo.

Base on this website, R 380 gearbox seems to be used on these marques

Frank,
Thank you very much for your input. I have just noticed that I have mentioned the wrong replacement box. What I am actually using is the LT 77 box - NOT the R380. Anyway, I think the LT77 box is also used in the many of the topics mentioned by you.
Thank you again for your helpful input.
