After looking at the Aero (S2 &S3) and not being totally happy with the clutch and gearbox I found a really nice guy selling his 2005 Roadster in Rosso red (with what I think is a Librands sports exhaust and lots of other nice upgrades) and got the 'must have it' feeling. happy3

A quick call to the building society and 6 days later I have it.
Drove it back from Newcastle to Shrewsbury yesterday , 230 miles, with the top down all the way and a HUGE grin every time I pressed the loud pedal crazy2

Unfortunately I'm not eligible for the Sidepipe Squadron but maybe we could have a 'Loudpipe Squadron' instead.

I still like the Aero but I'm going to wait until the 4.8 and auto box are avilable and have another look next year.

I will get some photos soon and get them uploaded (when I find out how)

Thanks for all the advice on Sidpipes , does anyone know where I can get Armourfend fitted to the Roadster in the Midlands?

Andy

cheers

Andy, congratulations! wine

DefendAll sponsor a Trad racer, so they may be a better choice to Armorfend.

Here is a list of installers - link

Look forward to seeing some pics of your new wheels.

The gallery is easy to use but if you get stuck, let me know! smile

Hi Andy, Welcome to the 'Trad' Fold. Enjoy your car and join your 'local' MSCC Center. In a years time, you very well might get over these 'cravings' you are currently experiencing.

I have 'Defend All' on 'Graphite Grey' and no problem with the edges; it is also now a 'MMC' Factory Option and therefore the Service Dept., would be able to fit it for you.

Well, as per another thread, come 2009 there may be perfect marriage/Frankenstein hybrid depending on your point of view.

Congratulations, Andy thumbs

Enjoy your new car!

Roderich

PS Doesn't the Light Weight Roadster have side pipes? Maybe you can fit two of those?
