The book recommends 22psi for my 16" wires - which is what I run at. Has anyone experimented with tyre pressures and if so, what did they find?

I now settle on 24 to allow for a bit of discrepancy although at my last service my tyres were found to be 32! I'd used the pre-set pressure on my 12v pump. All 3 gauges now confirm 24. I wouldn't go over that but I did think my treads were looking a bit 'compressed in the centre ie. under inflated over time.

I have made good experiences with 25 psi with warm! tires. And then you can play a little bit with the relation between front and rear to get the best understeer/oversteer balance.
It depends on the time of year also. In the cold season possibly a bit more cold tyre pressure because they don´t warm up so much.

At a recent Brands Hatch Morgan owners workshop 27psi was recommended for 4/4 and plus 4 cars.

I run my 2009 4/4 Sport at 23psi (cold) all round which seems to give the car enough traction without compromising uneven wear rates.
My OE I changed to Toyo's and they seem stickier, this was done at 17,000 Mls. I am a fairly enthusiastic driver and the front inner edges were down to 2mm due to the camber angle on this model being adjusted for better front end handling.
The rears could have gone a bit longer but at £50 a corner not worth messing around with.
These are 15" Rims but from previous posts this is normalish tyre pressure, the 80 section tyres form part of the suspension as well and at 30psi I would expect a very choppy ride.

which Toyos did you choose and how are they in the wet.
I´m wondering what could be a good replacement for 205/65 R15 tyres on a Morgan.

I run 24 front 26 rear approx. on the road. Adding some 6 - 8 psi on track (except Autosolos where I only raise the fronts to lighten the steering). 22 psi is too low for my 130kg...  And my driving style.

For what it's worth, I run 21psi all round on the 205/60/15" Yokohamas on alloys for my Plus 4. I've not tried it on a track day yet, but I would guess +5psi all round and a couple on clicks on the AVO shocks would be a good starting point. Too firm for our c**p roads though IMHO.
