A great day at the BHM trackday at Goodwood last Thursday.
I returned to Cumbria on Saturday evening via Hertfordshire using the M1 & M6. Hood down and a trifle cool - minus one when I reached home.
The Plus 4 heater works well but was partially negated by a seriously icy draft coming up the handbrake gaiter. Any ideas how to tackle this apart from putting a spare glove over it ?

Should have said it's a 2011 +4. Handbrake and gaiter on the transmission tunnel forward of the gear lever.

I have the same issue I did think of the brushes you see in letterboxes but haven't tried it.
I blocked off the gearlever gaiter with a large rubber washer

I seem to recall that someone put the rubber from a sink plunger under the gaiter to get rid of the drafts.

(But that sounds so weird that maybe I dreamt it ...)

A good friend sent me the link about this, not weird at all.
