I've found the standard screen is a real nuisance, with the top of the screen being right in the middle of my line of sight, so that I either sit with my head to the right, so as to see over it, or tilted to the left to look through it.

Has anyone worked out how to remove either the screen or the screen and base so that I can substitute it with a Brooklands screen, which I happen to have a pair of surplus [as you do]?

Are you referring to a three wheeler, or a Trad. For Trads, some people have replaced the 2 seater screen with a 4 seater screen.

I don't know the answer but I'm really looking forward to seeing the first new M3W with some decent...ie. Brooklands screens!

Mine isn't even built yet, but I'm already thinking about that screen. Can you please post a picture or link of/to the aforementioned "Brooklands screen"?

The screens seem to be a subject of some discussion amongst owners, for the above reasons, and the 'Brooklands' seem to be the answer as they are not only made of laminated glass, but can be adjusted for height and angle to suit the driver.

I'm also a little concerned that the standard perspex screen will get easily scratched whilst being cleaned up end up impossible to see through, especially at night and when driving into the sun.

But will his hood still fit . As its the factory who fit them for tall people , Why not put a fold down screen on and you MUST wear goggles FLYING STONES AND EYES DONT LIKE EACH OTHER.

Had a look at the link, they do squared rather than rounded screens. Much nicer in my opinion and more vintage.

Ok, I confess, my two speeder has squared off ones - Auster screens too.

I am picturing a full-width window with two flat sections joined at an angle in the middle. Perhaps with a mirror that can slide up and down a center rod or post.

And (optimally) attach to the bodywork in the OEM holes.

No!

As Paul says....no. I guess you could get one made up but a screen like that would really need wipers and then it gets very complicated.
