You could ask Triking if their full windscreen could be adapted to fit a M3W. It looks like you would need glass cut to an appropriate size.

If you want to have wipers fitted I believe that you will also need a washer system to pass the MOT in the UK. Surprisingly, I understand wipers are not themselves a MOT requirement.

If you have a windscreen, the lack of washers and wipers would certainly be a construction and use offence.

Aeroscreeens are exempt - because you don't have to look through them to see where you are going.

Certainly the condition of the wiper blades if fitted is a testable item, but not sure about if they are not there at all whether it would be a fail. I could ask an MOT tester, but he'd only tell me off for being silly. And since I'll never do it, pointless.

It is true construction and use violations are rarely enforced, and poorly understood but expect to have the book thrown at you if you have an accident. Police vehicle examiners do usually know!

That looks interesting. Perhaps I could get just the frame and then have 1/4" Lexan cut to fit. Thanks!

No wipers for me!

Don't know if is the same in the USA, but in the UK, folk who make replacement windows for coaches are often cutting sheets of laminated glass. Find a glass replacement firm for such vehicles and they may cut your screens for you.

You may have to provide a pattern, but cardboard boxes were made for this purpose!

Would be much more scratch resistant than lexan.

Completely agree. I work next door to a glass shop as it happens. I'll ask.

Thanks!

Now if only I had a 3WL to make patterns on...
