Hi all, finally bought a morgan after years of non ownership, picking it up on Friday!! She is a 1957 +4 four seater. Currently not fitted with seatbelts, and I know that Mrs S will not be too keen to go out without these. She probaby will go but is bound to wince when within 100yds of another car at over 30, so, is there any guidance on how to fit belts to a four seater so that the front belts do not limit access to the back for the dog? Would be great to be able to fit belts front and rear.
Thanks, Bill

Hi Bill, welcome to the forum and congratulations on you new motor. Sorry I cannot help you on the seatbelt question, I am sure others more knowledgable will be along soon.

I'm using 4 point competition belts in my 65 +4 4 seater. The lap belts are attached with eye bolts through the chassis rail behind the front seats and the shoulder belts attach with eye bolts that go through the frame just in front of the lower locator for the rear seat back. Rear seat lap belts also can attach there as well.

Mine are non-interia type and and are bolted to the read wheel arch and then through the floor/welded metal bar under the frame. None in the back only in the front.
I think Melyvn Rutter can supply them...
