I placed a deposit thru Pete Larson around April 1 of 2012, and expect a build date around April 1 2013. Seems like a proper gestation period.

Pete developed the Ace, and it seems appropriate to buy from the source. We are looking at going to England to pick it up, tour the factory, drive around, and have it shipped. If that can't be done, a trip to Seattle and a drive back to Santa Fe New Mexico would be a "trip of a lifetime".

I've now seen a few and ridden in one, and am well satisfied it is well built and is totally impractical for anything but lots of fun. The weather in the US South West is quite sunny, with little and very predictable rain, short Winter. Seems perfect.

We put on the Santa Fe Concorso each year in Septembet, on the last weekend, www.santafeconcorao.com as a charity event.

Drive your M3s out and go on our tours.

Sorry, I mis typed the address for our car event. It is www.santafeconcorso.com Take a look at our web site, it updates often, and come out and join the fun. Sir Stirling and Lady Susie, Al Unser, and Bob Bondurant are just a few of our judges for the charity event .

Can I suggest that this thread is running oldest to newest and is therefore backwards?

Also it would be interesting to post 2 columns of data, order date and promised build date. We could see which way the dates are drifting.

Never met forum software that did anything different, newest post is always the last post on the last page.

We ordered ours today! It's the brochure cover car. Satin green with the polish package, shark nose and RAF livery. Tan leather with a mohair tonneau.

Hello to everyone. I am a Morgan virgin, be kind!

I've followed this forum for quite a while, but never got around to joining up...till now.

After a test drive in early 2012 and a factory visit in the summer I eventually ordered my M3W in November from Lifes Motors and the build date is week 20 (mid May).

Starting to get excited, but have a load of work to do on my garage before it arrives.

Virtually decided the colour scheme - Sport Grey, shark mouth, RAF livery, bullet holes ( on wife's side), black exhausts. Struggling to choose between black or mulberry leather, but got until March to decide.

I assume people know about the 2013 price rises, £950 on basic car and various increases to optional extras...such is life!

Thinking of joining a Morgan owners club, but can't decide which would suit me best. Fancy doing some touring and maybe the occasional track day. Suggestions most welcome....

Recommendations as to best club depends on what you want and do. As I've suggested before to new owners of five speeders, join both the MTWC and the MSCC and make the decision after nearly a year.

Plenty of us are members of both clubs (I am), and both invite members of the other Morgan club to most of their functions.

The original Morgans are the two speeders, then they got carried away and put a three speed and reverse gearbox in. The latest has a five speed speed gearbox, hence the name.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on you M3W. How are you going to keep sane waiting for its arrival. I will leave it to others more knowledgeable than me to comment on owners clubs.

I placed my order in June 2011, had a provisional delivery date of last September which came and went. Still don't have a firm date but the rubbish weather is making it a little easier as I wouldn't be driving it anyway.
I have been avidly taking note of everyones modifications/accessories and have got quite a list already of things to do.
