I'm with you on that. I know when I was looking for an Aero 8 last year I would have loved an S3/S4 front end with the S1 rear.....but the S3/S4 front end won over the S1 rear.

I have to admit to not being a fan of the SS or Coupe rear end. To me it looks like the abdomen of a large spider!!! I've considered getting myself a Coupe but not sure I can love the rear end!!

Beauty is clearly in the eye of the beholder I guess.......wouldn't do if we were all the same (odd really, as MOG owners we're clearly already in a niche and that niche is further divided by our likes/dislikes!).

From memory, this was done before the supersports was built.

I love the Max rear end but for me the SS rear end doesn't work.
I would prefer this modified car with either an exposed spare wheel sunk into the boot lid, or a pretend spare wheel cover pressed into the boot lid - like some prewar cars had.
