I've had a note back from BHM saying they can do it..... There are other forgetful souls out there, they've had to extract a few over the years.

I was tempted to have a go, but shall take Bud's advice and leave to the experts.

When I refitted the stud I put a small stainless washer underneath because I didn't want to tighten the stud head against the paint.

always liked the 'off side undo' on older ones. That was my 'name' at the shop for awhile...
