I am embarrassed to tell my customer that he has to spend such a high price for a simple ball bearing that has failed for his 58 DHC.

I have searched on the 'Net until I am green in the face trying to find a cross reference that would point me in the direction of another manufacturer, but all that I find are very confusing.

The OEM bearing is an R&M unit marked LJ11/8. This crosses to dimensions of 28.58mm X 63.5mm X 15.88mm OR 1 1/8in X 2 1.2in X 0.5/8in.

The idea is to find another manufacturer (Timken-SKF-?)that would have one in a warehouse domestically in the US for a reasonable amount of money.

Thanks for any help that anyone might offer.

Your bearing should be a 1652. Nothing special about it. Less than ten dollars US
