HI

After discussions with many people regarding how many Aeros were built and where are they now etc , I decided in a moment of boredom over christmas to collate all the info from Talk Morgan, and from MMC into a Aero register

The MMC records began as a hand written journal which has some gaps in it . The records then transferred to a computer system and unfortunately some info was lost .So the records we have are the best we have in one place

I have included a contact form so I can add any info you would like to add. I have purposely excluded personal data, full vin numbers and other personal data for obvious reasons.

The excel file can be opened with the password lawrence in lower case - then open as read only

I have just tried to add my mk3 but it will not accept the build date ( i have tried all formats) build no is J0400 which your register lists as a mk2?

Looks excellent, will submit mine shortly.
Also can we forward pictures for the gallery, if so how is this done.

Accordng to the howmanyleft site, there are 36 uk registered series 4's taxed and 7 sorned.

How certain are we that the numbers quoted in the register have actually been built? There are certainly a few discrepencies in there.

Not at all certain - Not all cars are in the UK as you mentioned and the MMC records have some gaps and we also have conflicting info from several sources .

Tony visted MMC recently and had a look at the hand written ledger so we know that is correct.

I will try to visit the factory at some point soon and see if I can firm up the accuracy

The more owner info we get the better as they know best !

PS I have now added the build number field to the website as I forgot that - ( good job I dont do this for a living ) sorry to martin and ian - can you send me your build numbers

It can get very complicated but somehow it would be nice to record some of the major changes such as centre lock wheels???
