Vostok pronounced VasTOK (emphasis on the second syllable), = "East". I once had beautiful Poljot, pronounced PalYORT, = "Flight". These watches are generally reckoned to be several degrees of quality higher than Vostok. Mine wasn't frown2. Broke after about a year and the only way it could be repaired in the UK was to replace the movement with a non-Russian one. Couldn't see the point in that.

Linmog are aranging a meet on 17th July - see below

Hello, I have been to see the owners of East Kirkby Airdrome today and have booked for Linmmog to pay a visit there on the 17th of July. See attached borchure. For those who have never been there is much to see and do there. I have arranged a discount price of entry providing enough of us wish to go there. I have also asked if it would be possible to do a photo shoot with the Lancaster Bomber, and they said it would. Food and drinks are available there in the NAFFI. It is both dog & wheelchair friendly. All I need to know from members is, what time we shall be arriving there and how many of us. See their website at www.lincsaviation.co.uk for more information.

Best Regards, Ron 1332.

David......sounds interesting, particularly as the taxi runs for the public are now booked through until next year. Have you got a contact e-mail address for Ron?

Jay let me know your email and I will forward the message there are a couple of brochures on it too.

Please see, below, an email forwarded from Tony Franklin of LinMog. this may be of interest to some of you. David Pawley can be contacted at: david.pawley9@btinternet.com or on: 01522 690169.

I would be happy to attend on 17th (weather permitting). Subject to demand, why not organise a TM meet up with Linmog?

Im doing the Wales tour so I will let some one else do this one.
