Love to see some pics of the fabrication in expectation that one of the three is mine.

Heres a very nearly completed front subframe for our wishbone front suspension
Its jig built and fully TIG welded and takes about 2 days to fabricate
and sorry Andy- this one isn't yours....

This one is...- and its still a work in progress- it will have different radiator mountings to the one above

Narrow track and (current) wide track lower wishbones...

Some detail shots of the welding....

narrow track and (current) wide track top wishbones...

more pics tomorrow...

Great work Simon, I want a Mog with your IFS kit fitted! Do you have similar photos of your rear suspension conversion?

Cheers

Had a look at the mog in Jays link on one of my visits to Mulfab. What can you say other than fantastic, as you would expect from these chaps the welding is exquisite as is the engineering. notworthy

Agreed Andy, we look forward to hearing your own driving experience once your car is finished. woohoo

Are you doing the Nordkapp trip on your own, or is it a Jock Mog initiative? Please do let us have more details.

Cheers

Its a personal trip. Being based in Stavanger at the moment we decided we had to make an effort and see the country. I get to a number of places on business but thats not the same. Plan currently is Aberdeen, Newcastle, Amsterdam, Copenhagen then ferry to Oslo. Oslo to Trondheim then car and passengers on Hurtigruten to Honningsvag just short of Nordkapp. Then its driving all the way back to Stavanger via Lofotens, Trondheim, Atlantic Road to Molde, Alesund, Geirangerfjord etc etc. Plan then to keep the car in Stavanger for a few weeks to cover the area up to Bergen. Then on the ferry from Stavanger back to Hirtshals in Denmark then Amsterdam, Newcastle and Home. Allowing 3 weeks for the trip from Aberdeen round the loop to Stavanger but it will never be enough. Currently trying to finalise the timetable so I can book the Ferries but looking to start 8th July. Hopefully the suspension will add to the comfort, really looking forward to it all.
