Just wondering how your insurance rates compare percentage wise to value of car to premium . I am in New Zealand and the very proud owner of a new 2012 Roadster. My problem if it is a problem is we are being charged About 10% of cars value per year. Would this be compareable to other countries. Just curious

Very high spend, but I hope it doesn't erode the enjoyment of your Roadster too much. Mine is 0.9% of the car's value.

I have never tried to find out what the Insurance rates would be in the Uk if one goes to the 'Big Boys' for a Morgan Insurance. I mean those who advertise cheap insurance but charge 40% more than the Keen Insurers for our Tin Tops.

We do have the benefit of Morgan Specialist Insurers who have really low rates.
If you have any Classic Car Insurers in NZ maybe you should ask what their rates would be. Or Maybe our 'Gott & Wynne' could offer international Morgan Insurance hide

Slightly less than 0.9% comprehensive, a £100 deductible, including legal expense cover with Gott & Wynne, and with 3 points on my licence!
But that is mainly driving around in circles avoiding potholes and festivalgoers!

Hello Randall,
this year I pay around 0,7% of the car value for insurance. Our system gives you a rebate for every accident free year. In the best stage you only pay 30% of the normal rate. In opposite a beginner pays 175%.
