Having just received a small package in the post, which had quite obviously been slyly opened, I assume to check whether it was worth anything of value, I'd quite like the UK to adopt this system! Can you imagine the surprise of the 'less than honest' when they peeked into the box to see if it was worth stealing whilst in transit! grin2

Just poop in a bag? Easy Peasy Giles.......go on do it!! I've just done my test...more involved as the NHS seem to like you to get down and dirty and scrape 6 samples with little cardboard spatulas! shocked2

Did the same just before Xmas. Scary.

I note they screen you in France and Scotland @ 50yrs however in England they don't start until
you are 60yrs, just before we had this news of Boshers, i had visited the nurse, she refused to
examine me because of my Chalk/Cast on the Leg, when asked what the chalk has to do with it, she
replied "we have to weigh you and we can't with that on.

Here is hoping you dont get C/C by wearing a Chalk/Cast ooo

Tried it a couple of years ago and they found blood . I was given a time to go to the North Tees hospital . A liquid to drink the day before starting at 4pm . Never been to the loo so many times in a month . I thought one could flush and that was it . Not with this stuff . After many many times its as clear as water . I was afraid to go to sleep that night in case , but was OK . At hospital down in the cellers ( thats what it felt like ) many mini rooms to check people out . I was given a gown and paper pants sent in to a mini room to face 5 very pretty women they laid me on the bed injected something in my arm and I was sleepy and not aware of what they did . But they pump air up your rear to streach it , then inspect . I came around on they said right you are all clear go and lye down on a bed in the ward have a drink and a snack . What they dont tell you . Is the air they pump in must come out it did, a school boy in class would have had a record for that noise and lasting time too. My wife drove me home and I farted constantly . The only down side was the paper pants had been torn off me by these very pretty nurses AND I CAN'T REMEMBER A THING. Last time they sent the card out for more it was all clear again.

That's for colonoscopy (camera); for virtual colonoscopy (CT scan) they pump you with co2 and you think you want to fart but don't, it's all absorbed by the body smile

Cheers

Reading this thread provides, once again, a reminder of what a wonderful forum TM is. You have (literally) a world of friends Boshly and your customary openness and frankness is an inspiration - best wishes to you.

John

I must be differant to all other humans because it never stopped not much body to absorb it though my wife claims my body is as thick as my head and states that does not absorb anything she said I farted while asleep and woke her up .Surprised I am still alive after that.
