I'm not an Aero man but this one seems good value for such a low mileage example incase anyone is looking for a thoroughbred at the moment. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/a...age/2?logcode=p

It goes to show that almost all metal with 4 wheels depreciate. Time to buy a 3wheeler.

About right for a Mk1 I would have thought.

About right for a Mk1 I would have thought. Not when higher mileage ones are going for late £30s and some low £40s. As we don't know the history of the car, it is a moot point; however, it does seem good value if all the relevant history/facts check out.

If it checks out it seems a good deal. Sure I've seen that reg on a car before so might be a club member.
Forgotten how lovely the S1 interior is, looks great!

Is it not a private sale? He's probably asking what a dealer would offer him before they add on their mark-up.

I bet you are right Jay.
Gajet this seems real good value if it is as stated original +8's are going for more, the later low mileage ones. There is so much more technology for your money in the Aero as well. Had they not have produced the new +8 it would have been the one to keep, I think the early Aero's might just be now though IMHO.

Little doubt that good condition Series I's are worth circa £40k, my former car is coming on the market and if I can buy it for the same price as this car - it's a steal even with a much higher mileage!

Priced about right. My mint condition S1 sold for less but it did have higher mileage. Aeros don't sell quickly as the market is very small for them. I found that out the hard way. Seems that the market is pretty slow for any sports car at the moment though.
