I finished my shopping last week but have ventured out on various errands (including an inadvisable bout of food shopping) and yes, it was pure chaos.
Today I took my daughter to see Father Christmas at a local part (really well set up and seemed so much nicer than seeing him in a shopping centre), so it was much slower paced and far more enjoyable. :santa3:
