Do you have any clue of the use of the second brake caliper of the front right wheel?
It's missing on the front left side.

MAking an S1 an auto sin't really ideal - but I'm sure it makes perfect sense if you're driving it in Moscow traffic. That said
I cannot think of anything less suitable to drive around Moscow in, the roads are potholed and awful, permanently clogged, the smell of exhaust and petrol and fumes is worse than anywhere else I've travelled in the world so a convertible is pointless in the extreme!
Anyway, hats off to the owner, as the update / conversion is well done, tasteful and looks great. Nice solution on the glovebox too..

I don't think that is a second caliper. It appears that he has fitted brake disks with separate Bells and painted them blue. I beleive what appears to be a second caliper is actually the brake disk bell.

Agreed it does make the cabin look more complete and it is well done, but for some reason I would stick with the original. I wonder if appears on Gajet's new Aero register, it would have pretty big column for modifications.

I missed that, yes that's my car and seems to get photographed every time I go out in it, all Aero owners experience that of course!

You go along in your merry way never having seen one of these dashboard conversions then you see 2 in one day. Just spotted this 2002 S1 for sale with a Dutch dealership  This car has what is described as Halo headlights, look nice and on a S1, anyone know their origin. Again a neat conversion and different from the Russian one.

I'm guessing they mean a type of 'angel eye' headlight, as fitted to most modern BMWs?

VW Beetle on the S1 but same principle as Angel eyes on a BMW, another RHD car overseas!

The headlamps are non OEM and available from bug specialists and eBay.
