Peter: Wobble is not really a 'problem', hardly notieable - could actually be my wire spoked wheels that needs centering (if that's the correct expression...). I haven't had the time to check everything yet, but I will when I rebuild the front. thumbs

Hamwich,
Would really appreciate your considered opinion on this mod when you have done a few miles ( I suppose after the next weekend as I suspect you'll not be able to resist trying it out!!!)

cheers from a sunny Ireland -- had a great blast in the Mog this morning!!

We might be able to run some back to back comparison tests on a Highlands tour in late June... smile
That's if I can keep up with that GM powerplant Tim has in his 4/4 grin2

So how will you assess? Maybe - who has the worse back/neck pain after hundreds of miles on Scottish roads or who comes through fast bumpy corners still with a smile on their face. I don't remember many Morgans hanging on my tail in 2011 through the Highlands, and those were just the prototypes.........PJB ;-)

Yea, I got him on the corners, the look on his face was a picture - but the slightly breathed on CVH was no match on the straights, good fun though - the 2.0 Zetec might have more chance.
Others might be interested in that the Zetec 2.0 litre can be installed in place of the 1.6 CVH using the following from the CVH:- gearbox, clutch, exhaust manifold & system, inlet manifold, Weber DFT 32/34, engine mounts, rad, alternator and other bits and bobs and still give over 100 bhp at the rear wheels with a calculated 138 bhp at the flywheel from the rolling road test. Brmmmmmmm! PJB.

I am interested in the rising rate front suspension conversion from Suplex. Has anyone fitted these springs and what is the result?
