Confirm the amounts above (not yours!) always about £700 for the service which does include wings off.

I personally prefer the factory to anywhere else as its a great day out, but when inconvenient have used approved dealer and even a well know independent (Miller Motors).

Are you sure it's an Aero and not Boshlys Ferrari you're getting serviced?

Even that was negotiated down from £2500 to £1400 at an official Ferrari dealership wink

I have Tango (series4) in for a service and repairs.
The inoice is staged;
annual service GBP 388
oils etc GBP 120
repair on waterleak behind dashboard because of broken window wash tube (removal of the dashboard needed!) and checking a defective side cooling fan GBP 727
replacement speedo, blown by the washwater leak GBP 265

All this is ex VAT.
Total invoice GBP 1800

Yes this is not cheap, but looking to only the annual service it does not look bad.

Tip to all Aero8 owners.Check your window wash water tubes behind the dashboard. When they age they can break(mine were made from very thin material) and cause electric desaster (in my case a blown speedometer).
My dealer had another Aero8 in at the same time with the same problem, though he was more lucky. After drying out the dashboard the problem was solved!

My experience has mostly been with Richard Thorne and it is £600-700 for the annual service and this includes the 15 minutes needed to remove the front section of wings/cowl etc.

I had a big bill for the replacement of the compressor/condenser when the A/C needed replacement.

Cheaper than my MB for certain.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Its a cheap performance car to run in my experience.
My S1 cost more in maintenance and repairs than the others.

Rudolf - had that same issue on my series 2. The tubes can fail, or just drop off the mountings if they get too hot. Its a really annoying known issue - I'd have hoped it would have been solved by the S4.

Hi Mike.

I will check on collection next week, but I hope the upgraded tubes are installed.I noticed on the invoice that there were no material costs mentioned for this job,so maybe it was supplied by the factory free of charge.
