Yes, unless you fit Vesonite HiLube bushes and lip/scraper seals on hard chrome pins. PJB

As ever Horses for Courses and the more choice there is probably the larger market share MMC will command and ensure the breed survives.

I have noticed significant changes in my 2009 Sport suspension compared to my previous 1993 +8 with the nodding dog syndrome.
The Sport is far moor focussed when cornering (outwith the weight disparity) and less skittish. I'm sure the front wheel camber changes have helped along the way so even an old purist can admit some progress is good. oldgit

You're talking to a non-mechanical person here PJB. You might as well have said 'fish, trumpet, penguin'. smile

Is the kit you've mentioned above, part of the same package and will it remove the need for any greasing?

I don't have huge confidence at speed in my Roadster - it wanders over undulations and is a bit unsettling. So a better suspension set up combined with no greasing would be very appealing.

We have a full front kit to fit onto one of our cars and then we will be able to supply and fit for customers

Neilda, no with the standard hub, bushes and pins you will always need to grease, ever 500 miles is an idea, but it only takes 2 minutes anyway, so hardly a chore. The new front suspension kit uses the standard hub and kingpin, it is the SUPLEX springs and tuned Bilsteins that give the improved ride and roll stiffness.
There are materials, seals and bushes that increase the period between greasing and ultimate life up to over 100,000 miles in some cases. Regards PJB

Perhaps PJB can correct me if I am wrong but I think that the seals (reversed to act as scrapers) could be added fairly easily when the springs are fitted regardless of the type of bush fitted. It may require pressing the lower bush in a little further and running the reamer through the bush to remove any distortion resulting from the pressing. This should help to exclude damaging grit from contaminating the grease and the bush and pin interface.

Indeed, push the bush through 5mm, reream to clear any burr, push the seal in, lip outwards. Seals of OD 1.25 inch can be a bit tight, so buy spares (£2.00 each ) and skim the OD with a file and try.
PS This is not only my thought, it has been done by others in this wicked world, but not in the Link of Malvern yet I fear. Regards PJB.
