Roadster Instrument Cluster
I recently noticed that the 3 gauge instrument cluster black background has started to peel away from the metal back plate. It seems to be getting worse and is now beginning to annoy me. I would have not thought that a 4 year old instrument should be deteriorating in this way.
Has anyone else had any problems?
I did think of contacting Smiths Instruments but they seem to hide behind the corporate identity and any contact numbers are carefully hidden.

Update - Sent an Email and pics to Caerbont this morning ( Sunday) and received a reply back. They will have it back and repair FOC. Thats what I call a good service.
Cheekily, I did suggest they send me a replacement so the car will not be off the road for a couple of weeks. I will see what happens.

The really good news is that they will put a new instrument in the post next week and I can return the old one at my leisure. At least I will not be off the road. Well done Caerbont Automotive Instruments Ltd of Swansea, a British company that looks after its customers.

A colleague of mine from Linatex days (think the rubber that self sealed holes in airplane fuel tanks in WWII or the red stuff you see on orad sweepers) left for Smiths as FD. Hopefully he is responsible as we both dreamed then (1990s) of owning Mogs.
