Melvyn Rutter has a new air filter for the S&S motor in the 3 wheeler. Unfortunately it's not on their website yet (I've only seen it in the ad inside May's 'Miscellany') but you could email him for a photo, perhaps. http://www.melvyn-rutter.net/ Gerry.

I have been looking for an alternate filter cover, quite like the muscle cover.
The agent for S&S here in NZ contacted the factory but no joy. All the ones in the pic above are not available for the M3W. Damn
Melvyn Rutter does have one which can be seen on the green and orange car in a recent posting . Cost £395
Not sure where his is sourced but it looks similar to ones done by Roland sands design.
Try couple pages back in the " mine is almost ready" post

these don't seem to have our 4 bolt pattern so I really wonder if they will fit.

I would ask again, I have got to believe that S&S makes an installation kit for these to fit on their own X-Wedge motor...they make adapter kits for just about every Harley engine out there.

I agree it seems bizarre that they havent got an adaptor plate.
Other aftermarket suppliers obviously have. S&S are missing out on a niche market, although small it is growing and there are more m3ws in the States now.
Perhaps a more direct approach would let us understand what options are available.
Any m3w owners nearby S&S? who could approach someone at S&S who might know if and when alternative filter covers would be available?

Gents, The conversion plate isn't available and the m3w engine is unique to Morgan. I spent some time on this a while back but it should be case of watch this space as I'm faIrly confident that this will change soon.
