My 2nd Secondary Air Pump is failing, makes a loud screetching noise, in 22,000 miles. To stop the noise I pulled the fuse. What may be detremental to the exhaust system without the Air Pump running for the short time it runs on a cold start up?
Air pump and check valves cost nearly $1000 to replace.
