I'm not trying to be morbid but over lunch some lads at work and I started talking about cars we have to own before we die. The condition was that these cars need to be attainable and not if I win the lottery I would buy type cars.

Mine were: Bentley Arnage: how nice to waft down the road in such luxury! Jensen CV8: teenage dream. Volvo P1800: remember The Saint? smile

Would love to own a Porsche Cabriolet one day, but not sure I wanted to associate myself with the unsavoury characters who usually seen driving those cars somestick innocent

Seriously, a Porker, a Bristol and a Beetle cabriolet

For me: - a 964 Turbo 3.6, 1965-67 Mustang fastback V8 manual, Honda NSX 3.2, Plus 8 or V6 Roadster and many others innocent

Any of those listed so far but I'd have to add to an AC 428 /Frura or a 1960's Maserati Minstrel

PRetty mcuh all Maserati!

3500GT - really love it!
Mistral - gorgeous - but same runnning costs as
Bora - MMMMMMM have to have one before I check out.
Ghibli Spyder - probably the best supercar convertible from that period in my book.
Ghibli Cup - pretty much the only Ghibli I like from the later period
Original Quattroporte from the 60's - such style and elegance - and grunt!

Lamborghini

400GT - underrated and beautifful
Countach - still v high on my list - Anniversary
Diablo - 6.0 or SV for me please - in black!

Aston

Vanquish - one day - 'S' model please!

Alfa

SZ - love the butch chin on these - shame they are so pedestrian

Brabus

something stupid - really liked the look of the CV8 a few years back - a sports coupe with a supercharged 600bhp V8 up front. Mental! Probably only a few made, and I'll never find one!

Ruf

R Turbo - 996 please smile
3600RS lovely also.

Jaguar

XJ-R - old shape - just the quintisential British saloon shape.

Lotus

Esprit - always wanted one, never fitted though.

Caterham

A superlight please - not too fast though

Alvis

Big old 50's saloon - on a par with Aston but available now for so much less. Beautiful beasts smile

Anything by Zagato - pretty much. Especially Alfas / Fiats.

Bowler Wildcvat - crazy TVR 5000cc engine in spaceframe landrover. And a ticket for the Paris Dakar...

Any sort of Ferrari.....never had one (yet)....

Oh there are a few 'crazy-turbo-nutter-Japanese' cars that I like: - 3rd generation Mazda RX-7 (hard to find one without a bodykit), Impreza Type 25, R34 Skyline GT-R Nur Spec... any of those would do just to get that genre of car out of my system. flag
