Pics of inner wing shield brackets and fitted shield Easy to do, hard bit is making stainless brackets, drilling takes the time. Just need to do the rears now, had to order some longer cortex.

Rear inner wing liners fitted, replaced wing to running board bolts at same time with stainless. Easier to fit than front. Need 1.4m length by 320mm of correx on +8. Look very neat and cannot see from rear. Well worth doing.
Thanks for the design Dave

I'm pleased you managed to make them - and very pleased that you like them! (But I'm Steve by the way , not Dave! Confusing, I know as on TM I sign myself as Sid - which is what my friends know me as.)
It would be interesting to know now just how many other owners have taken up the challenge...

Today a friend of mine found three stone chips from the underside of the left front wing causing small marks on the overside of the wing, so I think it is a good idea to install protectors. At least if you have a car with aluminium wings. I will try to do it myself, even if I have my thumb in the middle of my hand. Ken in Sweden

I think 2 other in East Devon will be doing the liners as well, will keep you posted. I am very pleased with them, can already see where fronts have had odd impact and may have saved the wing. They are pretty straight forward to make and fit, for me the worst part was drilling holes for the stainless brackets(but that was my choice).

Just finished the rears. I decided to go for a more substantial bracket at the bottom of the liner and add a short rubber 'flap' just to protect the end of the Correx more than anything. More work but I am happy with the result. Bracket has a 'twist' to account for the angle of the liner in the arch.. the other components... The final result.. Ready for the fronts now..

A word of advice. Just make sure that the liner is well clear of the tyre. It is surprising how much the rear wheels move up and down. Unfortunately, I didn't, and todays little job is to replace the rears with some new ones.
