I know this topic has been discussed already intensively. However, 2 videos I put on youtube (Morgan roadster 3.7 rear suspension), which might still be of interest. The first video I made with my Morgan roadster 3.7 with one anti-tramp bar: http://youtu.be/otP5xU8qvYY Some 2000km later I asked my Morgan expert to improve the rear suspension with 2 anti-tramp bars, a Panhard rod and AVO dampers (3 klicks r/f) and here is the result: http://youtu.be/yaVDqJEEKR8The difference in driving the car under sportive conditions is as already described very significant. Axel.

Very interesting, Axel, thank you for posting your videos. Have you considered filming the action of the front suspension, too? Gerry.

Yes I did it, too, but it was not that impressive as the rear suspension and there is already a video available, if I remember correctly. Axel.

Many thanks for sharing, there is a lot more going on underneath the classic than I envisaged. The panard rod and anti tramp bars certainly smooth out the movement of the axle.

You are right, Axel- I found this with a link from your own video. I think this car would benefit from more grease on the upright! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OsPzsLCJpYAnother film of the rear, doesn't show much of the suspension action, but it's interesting to see how much the tyre moves, relative to the wheel (at about 1min 20secs) http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&v=kLuaER1D7LQ&NR=1 Gerry.

The front suspension video really does show the great problem of having a compressed rebound spring. Why do they do that? Why have a falling rate front suspension that goes soft in corners? Mmmmm! Very useful video though to see again - PJB

Great work. As I have said before a 300bhp morgan should have these upgrades as standard.

Was it a difficult/lengthy job Axel?

No, the only issue was to find the right place. I had to build a special holding device for the camera. Of course the sticky bitumen, which is everywhere under the new cars needs some care. The rest was easy, the GoPro camera is build for this type of video.
Axel.

Axel,
thanks for the very interesting clips.
After improving the rear suspension it would be nice to see also the effects regarding the cardan shaft diff link as you showed before making the improvepments. Anyway I can imagine to see much less up and down "work" of the parts.
