Whose to say MMC didn't query the order, the dealer has completed the form and the customer has signed it, so if it was queried by an administrator it's all going to look okay.

Silly error but probably one not to shout to loudly about as its going to require good will on all parties to resolve this matter. I'm not sure how it would work oversees but the car may well at his stage be paid for which again won't help.


Just hope you get it resolved soon. banghead

Honestly, I would rather have a RHD here in america. It may make certain things a bit more difficult, but it would add to the fact that its such a different car and for me, I would love it. I agree though, things like the direction that lights shine would certainly have to be changed. Other than that, I would love it.

Boshly and Asbojohn. You are both quite right of course. We have no idea of what the dealer may be doing or what has happened at the Factory and possible communications between the factory and the dealer. Certainly MrPB has some responsibility for not checking the order well enough but who of us would have checked that particular detail. As asbojohn says it is going to take a lot of good will to sort it out.

I took the liberty of pointing MMC in the direction of this thread (on Saturday) and one of the directors called me this morning to discuss. It would seem fair to say that they had not been made aware of this issue but have offered a solution which I will relay to MrPB. It is also important to note that MMC have supplied the car as per the order request but have stressed that they are happy to work with the dealership to ensure that the customer is not inconvenienced.

Which is exactly what I would expect MMC and dealer to do. Helps that there is big demand for the 3W! I reckon there's a willing buyer or 10 for such a lovely example here in the UK.

I think one of the directors at MMC should read regularly this forum, it is the best way so far to hear and listen, what the customers think and discuss about the products ... and these customers are the most important treasure for a company

Well done Simon and well done Morgan. I must say that Morgan have always been very good in resolving a couple of small issues that I had, so it looks as though they can be equally good in resolving the big issues.

Yes, thanks to Simon, MMC has coordinated with my dealer and they will be taking the RHD car back as well as fast track the building of a new LHD one.
I will pay for the two directions of shipping required.
The dealer will provide me with a loaner until the new one is available.

All in all a much happier and quicker solution than what I had expected. Great!

Look forward to joining the community soon!
