In would like to put my "Blob" on two timber jacks like they do it in malvern, for easier access for some modifications for the upcoming wintertime (I know its quite early, but you never know...).
If someone will be in the factory next time could you please figure out:
-How do you lift the M3W on the Timber jacks?
- the heights of the timberjacks
- where are the points to put it the M3W on the jacks? (pics from underneath would be great)
Or does anybody already know the answers? Thanks for your help
When it is being assembled, all of the various individual components can be lifted by muscle power. When it is all put together I just bet that a fork lift with padded forks just lifts it up, allowing for jack removal, then lowers if for final work.
I wouldn't approach that job with anything less.
Another approach would be eight men and a boy...
When were these shots taken? My regular blue was built last September/October.

What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.
Thanks for the pics. They give a first idea. The exactly points, especially at the rear end would be helpful. Like is it directly on the axle or in front of it...
@Michael: The forklift also was my first guess. But when I saw a couple of pics from the factory I start wondering how they will manage it with a forklift when they "parked" so close together in the assembly line. So they have to be all ready at once to give one after another a "lift" on their wheels.
Maybe somebody will ask this questions or make a movie when he visit the factory next time.
