Interesting. It seems that even back then, once you had built your Plus 8 up to a reasonable spec, you were still looking at 40k +.

GoMoG have a whole heap of price lists. I could get my '76 4/4 4 seater with all it's options (and it had them all) for GBP3750 (inc. VAT!!!!).
Lesson (to me at least) - buy now and think what a great deal you got in the future....or as Baz Luhrmann put it (google Sunscreen - great lyrics) ....
