took me to pick up the mog y/day the oil temp gauge arrived at our home ( no charge ) from Speedograph I took it with us and they fitted it . I inspected the mog and it looks better than new ( as he said on the phone ) the bonnet fit like a glove everything is perfect they had cleaned everything engine, chassis and body . While chatting I purchased a bag of 36 microfibre dusters thicker than the Autogylm ones by a long way £25/- and a tub of hard wax that I can use on the chassis body and chrome . The idea is to apply it end of Sept leave it till spring and polish it off ( as advised by them ) it protects the car body . The garage use it as they store cars for work . Paid the bill NOT BAD in fact very good for all the work put in and I am not an easy task master I want 100% every time not 99% . Nothing was a problem to them NOT EVEN ME it restores my faith in people . Jumped in the mog and away

had gone and left me with my other women as she calls the mog . Driving it home the oil temp took a while to show and then kicked in its still a bit stiff looks like a few rides and it will work in, it rose to about 60/5 ish . Stopped at the garage to fill up with BP ultimate ( no ethnol ) 97 octane . About 22.5 mpg but they have been trying to get the engine hot to check the temp gauge a few times so it's not the true mpg .

not back before me so I took about 25 mixed photos of the engine the dash etc . Thought those lads in OZ will be happy now .

arrived hungry out for a curry . On arriving home last night I wanted to test the lights , Ben Duncan had changed the bulbs , it's on with our flying jackets and off . By hell are they good , they lit up the road and the main beam could see for a very long way.
Home we both agreed our Flying jackets dont fit like they did when purchased in 1987 we have put on a few pounds here and their , we both felt like trussed up turkey's ( stick to my tankies ) . I went on the PC and again the memory stick contents just flashes up on the PC screen so fast I miss it . But not to worry I checked the camera and the batteries are flat . I have several of the garage floor one of my shoe one with the shakes trying to balance on a high bit in the garage . Out of 25 photo's about 3 look OK . So I am not going to be given the job of taking photo's for page 3 with my camera skills . The shine on the body just came out to bright and to orange in the photos then it dawned on me I had left my car cover at the garage so another trip down to pick it up . One lad who knows my car , he told me on the phone is taking his car their after seeing mine in the garage and been in

over it . Just the interior to do and its complete , but that can wait till end of summer

and me need some fun out of the mog first. I will sort out some photos but you will have to wait SORRY enjoyment comes first.
The chap at the garage is learning to be a concours judge and I gave him some tips and showed him some books he said one was heavy reading but good for learning the ropes.
