Indeed, I think the UK market is more or less saturated now, luckily the rest of the world still want them.

Nice pix though, good to see a 'hearing aid racing beige' one too.

Or possibly there are still many people like me who are waiting for the first 1,000 M3W customers to complete the 'shakedown testing' of this lovely little car. My dealer is under instruction to call me as soon as they pass a one year anniversary on a M3W that hasn't required any rectification work

Good luck with that. Waiting for perfection is often hopeless, elusive and a waste of time. The only thing that will occur with this mindset is that one gets older with nothing happening. at all. forever.

In the meantime, you could just get the darn thing, have a bunch of fun and find that, despite all reservations, nothing untoward breaks and you've had a ball! So far, I have racked up 4,500 miles, endless smiles, one rectifier/alternator replaced and everything else just working. That'll do!

What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

I agree Michael ! No other car or motorcycle I have ever owned has made me smile like the threewheeler , the fun far outweighs a few minor issues, I'm now on 5300 miles and wouldn't swap it for anything smile

And I couldn't get a "polished cowl" without also getting the rest of the bright-pack. I am interested in seeing the finished project.

I know it's a bit late now but the painted cowls are stainless underneath .
Like you I wanted black hoops etc and a polished cowl , as this wasn't possible from the factory , i stripped the paint off and polished it .

If you replace the rectifier/alternator with the HD part,do the wires need modifacations or does it plug in directly?
No worries about the bracket mount
