I was wondering if anyone knew the reason for the shifter position being changed on the recently built three wheelers? I was viewing one that just came to the states a few weeks ago and noticed that the shifter was much closer to the dash and also had an angled shift lever.
any info?

Part of a redesign on the linkage mechanism as I understand. Means you're not assaulting your passenger which each gear change.

I would love to upgrade the gear lever and as you say stop assaulting the passenger. I wonder if the dealer can sort this at next service
2022 Plus Four, 2023 Super Three, Range Rover Vogue SDV8 and Triking T3.

interesting. never been an issue for me with the passenger. i'd love to get some driving time on the new configuration as the little time i sat in the car when it was parked it seemed too far away

Simply removes the remote gearlever extension I think. Requires a new top of drive tunnel, but little else I suspect. Gearchange much improved as far as I am concerned.
