Has anyone got a wiring loom, new or used, for a 1976 Morgan +8 with a Rover 4 speed gearbox. The alternator is a Lucas 18ACR fitted I believe from 1973 to 1976; the instrument panel as that fitted to Morgan +8s from 1968 to 1976.

I would suggest, if you are going to rewire, that you bring it up to newer specs with a decent fuse box - the original from that period (as I know from the work I've just had to do on my 4/4) suffers from a serious lack of protection to various circuits / systems.

+1 - mine only has four fuses for the whole car!

I bet you have a fifth grin2
A floating one, in the middle behind the switch panel... It's for the hazard flashers. smile

Very true - when I got the car took me ages to work out why the hazards were not working, it was the fuse holder (the spring had gone weak) not the fuse!

Thanks Graham. I'm going for orginality so keeping the fuse box. From memories of a 1972 4/4 that I owned, my Plus Eights have relays (apart from the indicator/hazards) that I don't believe were fitted to 1970s 4/4s. It could actually do with three relays; an additional one for the headlights.

Anyway, if anyone has a loom, I'd be really interested.

Thanks and regards, David.
