I used to own a Caterham 7 and it had a clever after market storage tidy that was a bit like a saddle and popped over the gear lever. It held phone, wallet etc and was quite handy. Has anyone come up with a solution for a new M3W? The space forward of the gear lever is a bit lost, maybe a travel wash bag type "thingy" would do?

No need for one of those saddle bags or even a washbag Donald, a simple parcel shelf and glove box do it all.
Once I find out how to put photos up here, I will show you what I've done.

I discussed this with Allon White as they manufacture the excellent side pockets, nothing forthcoming yet. Also this idea might only be for early versions if they move the gear stick forward on latest production models

Have mounted the Allon White side pockets and find them a great help and not really in the way of legs / entry at all. Look nice too.

I had a similar idea and the excellent chaps at Allon White knocked this up for me. Their trim expert Shaun is a real craftsman and their customer service is second to none. Not too sure about the handle (folded out of the way in this pic), as I thought it might be a neat way of carrying the (removable, via Velcro) bag when out and about - but it just looks like a girlie handbag in truth, so it may yet have to go.... Anyway, works a treat but might work even better on a pre-gearlever revised car, as opening it when not in 2nd or 4th is less than optimal. Holds phone chargers, earplugs, gloves, that sort of thing. I stuck the Morgan badge on it, but jury is still out on whether it adds much.

Been meaning to put this up for a while. Made of some spare ali in the garage and covered with leatherette.Seems to work well for storing goggles etc My solution to the interior storage issues. Tucked away and usually used for waterproofs and spare goggles. I might have posted these before.

Looks good, footwell storage boxes are now top of my list of things to do.
