Mine arrived roughly a month after the car. The pictures are good but I was disappointed in the quality of the book , the buckle was bent and very flimsy and the first time I opened it the pages came away from the spine.

Mine came with the car ... the tonneau cover did not. Dealer settled that dispute with MMC, arrived two weeks later.

I agree that the build book is a thing of beauty, but it's a real shame that they don't always include pictures exclusively of your own car. At least 2 pictures of what purports to be 'my' car show it with the chromed engine, not the black one. I am sure the crucial pics towards the end of the story are indeed mine, but it just takes the edge off things really.

I ordered the build book, beacause like many, I felt it would help with resale...however I suspected that stock pictures would be used liberally, as workers would "forget" to take pictures.
Sound like this is the case...too bad. Frankly, you probably deserve a refund if the pictures really aren't of your car!

Its been more than five months since I got the car. Some kind of record, I wonder?

I took over a cancelled order so could not spec the car & the build record was on the spec. I ordered on 20th Sep 2013 & collected my M3W from Revolutions in Perth on 9th October. Revolutions had the car by 3rd. The build record was not with the car but Revolutions collected it the following week when going for another car. The record has my name on it with date of 01/10/13 though clearly the car was already built as Revolutions had pictures on their web site of the car in Malvern showroom.
