Not the same colour, Ivory is a creamy white; Sports White is closer to a pure white.

According to the Factory they are the same colour and I can confirm having seen a factory colour plate and my own 4/4 fresh from the paint shop that Sports white is ivory rather than a bright white.

Having seen a recent photo of Sports White (from different angles and therefore different lighting in each shot) I would say that Budster is spot on.
I appreciate that colour is subjective, but I can tell you that I think Sports Ivory and Tan leather is a great combo...Very happy with mine.I never get tired of the look of it. It's timeless and classy....Black leather is good also.
That said, I think that Sports White will be more forgiving against a wider range of trim colours.

Also, just for information, there are two distinct Ivory colours, depending on the age of the car and the paint process. AJSki2fly found this one out, when buying touch up paint for Rosie the Plus 8 Bud

Quote from the Factory when I queried the name change after choosing Sport white . 'Let’s call it a Morganism…. I have no idea- same colour, 2 names…' I agree colour is subjective and photographs taken in different lights will show a different hue. I found this particularly so with Sport sand. Sports white certainly isn't the bright white (Fuji white) that Land Rover currently use. Having seen it in the flesh I think it's more like the Pepper white seen on the BMW mini.

I agree for some reason the factory changed the name but the colours Sport Ivory and Sport White are identical.

AJSki2fly found this one out, when buying touch up paint for Rosie the Plus 8 Bud If you are looking to match paint then the best course is to ring the factory and get the colour code for the vehicle by supplying them the chassis number. Obviously if the car has been repainted in its life this may not work. In which case you can send a small sample taken from and hidden area to Auto Paints in Brighton, they will mix to an exact match.

As i am trying to chose a spec colour to order a new 4/4 i like the ivory colour but why pay extra for a bespoke colour when there is a standard colour available. In the brochure no mention of ivory, on the web site no mention of white, Some cars are advertised as royal ivory, is that the web site ivory, the brochure sports white or neither. I am confused

Dealers usually have paint samples on large polished semi car shapes. So when you go to do the deal you should be able to sort it then. The interior is a harder choice if you don't go for black.
