My car had to go back to the factory for the compensator and two dealers (Peranwell and BHM) both said the pedal box could not go back further. Hydraulic pipes etc were the reason.
I asked the factory to move it back an inch and they did whilst it was in for its warranty work. Interestingly, they moved it back an inch and approx an inch to the right by drilling new holes.
I am 5'10" and find the new setup much more comfortable.
If the rain stops i'll take the inspection plate off for a photo.

Melvyn also fitted chrome rear lights, number plate light, tool kit straps and a their wonderful chrome air filter. The whole vehicle looks so much more authentic now and is even better to drive.

Phillip, could we please see the pic of the tool kit straps, the tool kit is a pain?

The chrome air filter sounds great too, a pic please.

Your car is really getting special now.

No problem I will wait until the weather is better and then post them on the site. Funnily enough I have a Range Rover Sport also and like making comparisons between what the M3W does not have and the ridiculous amount of standard features the RR has. Both are great cars in their own ways and a great examples of British engineering and design.

Will post the photos on the site tomorrow when hopefully the weather will be a bit better here in London.
The fitting of the tool kit straps was amazing, Melvyn asked whether I was interested in putting the tool kit in a more convenient location and he then took me up to his trim shop where the lady there matched my leather colour to the one they had in stock. Within 20 minutes she had run up the pair of straps and the fitter had connected them, I then secured the tool kit with supplied turnbuckles and it fits very neatly above the passenger's knees.
He also showed me a piece of kit they had designed that gets rid of the ugly accelerator cable that pokes out of the front of the car (a bit like a lawnmower). I did not get them to fit it because I was running out of time but will have it done next time I am there as I will return there when they have sourced the front chrome lights to match the rear ones they fitted.

If you can post a picture of it,because on the site i cant find parts.they should upgrade their site so international customers can order parts through the net and know of new items, instead of calling in.
melvyn rutter seems a great professional dealer, a one stop shop to get all your m3w needs

Yes they have a solution for most things Morgan, when they replaced the rear and number plate lights with the chrome versions they also replaced and re-routed the wiring since it has a tendency to chafe against the chassis
A lot of European customers drive their cars over to have him carry out the upgrade work there, he also has some spectacular accommodation on site.
He has a great printed brochure but a transactional website would be a great addition

If you mean an on-line parts buying facility, Melvyn does have one: www.mogparts.net
