Many thanks to all for the suggestions and yes I have probably stuffed to much stuff behind the seats and then lowered the hood. Visited Southport and they stuck some rubber pads over the bracket, hopefully problem solved, just left with a couple of indentations in the window, which as long as they don't get any worst I can live with.
