I tried covering the door mirror (round one) but it made no difference.

Re aerial, haven't got one, no radio! Maybe I need to get one and turn it up loud!

Thanks for the suggestions.

Its most likely to be a stunning blonde wanting a ride ( if only ) . I thought about it and nothing springs to mind . You need to ask some older mog dealers ie B.H.M. or H.O.E.

It's going to be a leading edge of something I would have thought... Especially for such a distinct whistle.

On my +4 it was the headlight rim. The gasket had perished

Mine did that until I put P rubber under the headlamps rims.

Got a roll of masking tape and, on by one, taped up the headlight rims, the bottom of the windscreen, the two verticals each side, the side screen tommy bar holes, the screw recesses for the mirror, the gap between the running board and the rear wing, and even the door with me in it, all to no avail!

Anyway, it was a good excuse to go out int it :-)

I'm now wondering whether its the leading edge of the bonnet (I already did the trailing edge), or, possibly the gap between the headlight glass and the rim, rather than where the seal is, which I already taped. Good excuse for another run out ....

Ah, one of those 'deer whistles' so beloved of some American motorcyclists - but it sounds like this one has gone off-tune? grin2
