I've now done nearly 6000miles and like you or was a very significant purchase for me. You won't regret it!
I'm surprised at how short a wait you've got, mine was 10 months, pressure the dealer had a prebooked build slot?

Correct in one !
I was lucky enough to pick up an existing slot my dealer had with Morgan. When he could promise (!?!) to supply the car for my wedding anniversary , the Mrs was hooked as well !.
He then gave us the keys to run around in it for the rest of the morning ( about 3 hours covering approx 50 miles, some at motorway+ speeds and the hooks were in deep enough to commit to buy when we returned it.
I am now in the process of building a new garage to keep my precious safe so nasty hobbits dont steal it.
Its all character building ...

Nice to know of someone else in Cheshire making a significant investment in a M3W. I live near Warrington - not really Cheshire, but my postcode is!

Had my M3W a few weeks and the disintegrating bevel box apart, it's been running great and getting more and more enjoyable.

I've also found the M3W preparation (major garage refurbishment) and ownership experience to be, lets say, character building........

My dealer is Lifes Motors in Southport. They've been great, gave me a guided tour of the factory and no pressure to buy.

Collected my M3W when the bevel box broke and had it fixed the same week.

Must call in at Christopher Neal sometime for a look. I know one or two people who've had a browse there and seen 'strange' 3 wheel cars.

If you want inspiration for colour choice a trip to the factory is highly recommended. I decided on Sport Grey and Mulberry leather on my visit, but a fortuitous purchase from DVLA changed that 'set in stone' plan to Matt Army Green, full decals and black leather, much to the annoyance of

Your colour scheme sounds awesome - Getting the options straight in my head, there seems to be two high level options - a themed approach like yours , where WW1 / WW2 airplanes seem to be the preference using stock decals , or a more traditional approach , possibly using chrome to break it up a bit and less decals.
I am quite attracted to a steampunk engine theme , matt black with lots of chrome.
CNeil do custom decals - apparently a chap who works there is expert at making one offs and fitting them ( I have seen his work and it is superb ) so some subtle coloured lines as found on victorian steam engines could be good on black. I must do some sketches in Photoshop.
If you are south Warrington , do you fancy a pint one evening so I can oggle over your Sopwith Camel ? My local is the Red Lion in Pickmere ( about 15 mins from Stretton) , but happy to travel.

I think the beauty, and secret, of the M3W is the ability of every owner to customise the car as they see fit, and judging by the "oohs" and "aahs" on this forum, every time a picture appears, there doesn't seem to be a colour scheme shown yet, which hasn't received approval. The only other car I can think of where this has happened was the original Mini, back in the '60's? For the record, I think a lot of chrome looks dazzling, but wouldn't want the expense or work myself.

I like the sound of Grahams theme [what is steampunk?] and mat black has the advantage of not showing polishing swirls, which is why I went for a light colour. Do be aware though of the invisibility of dark colours and the need to travel with headlights on during daylight. I adopt this even with a light [ish] colour, especially on my country roads here in Somerset.

I agree with the safety aspect of using dark colours , the danger being you are potentially camouflaging yourself , when really you want to be doing is the exact opposite !

Re Steampunk. I am in no way am expert here, just something I have come across doing other hobbies ( model engineering mainly) , also different people interpret it in different ways. My interpretation is its an art form where subjects are 'enhanced' with an alternate reality , usually a 'what if' scenario involving Victorian engineering. For example this site has images of what a Victorian computer might have looked like if they had access to modern technologies

There is also a strong art movement on this theme, which I find fascinating - just google 'steampunk art'.
Some people also get into costumes on this theme , but I am not interested in that !
Not to everyones taste but relating this to the M3W , it strikes me the modern Morgan 3W is unashamedly a modern rehash of the original using modern technology to advantage, which ticks a lot of steampunk boxes.
So seeing the M3W as a modern machine with strong heritage, to emphasise that heritage as a machines of its time ( early 20 Century when machines were most likely big/black/dirty ) , matt black has a strong pull for me.
What a long winded way of saying I like matt black ! Doh
