You learn something new everyday!
I suppose the 'Back to the Future' films could be classed as 'Steampunk?

isn't steampunk a mix of numerous kinds of metals? Im no expert in the steampunk world, but everything I have seen it more focused on Brass and copper, with steel (silver color) being a very small portion of what makes up items.

Hi,
re Back to the Future Given there is no right and wrong definition in my book , my take would be yes this film used pseudo science and gadgets as a main theme even taking them back to wild west times , but so does 'ordinary' science fiction !
re Use of metals I agree - lots of examples I have seen as both solid objects and in paintings use shiny bright materials and colours, but I dont think that defines the genre as such. To me its the alternate reality using modern or advanced science in a Victorian , or not modern , setting.
I am now expecting to get slapped by the moderator for introducing non morgan chat :O

Just had another drive courtesy of the dealer - WANT MINE NOW ! Got him to take the bonnet off for a nosy - didnt realise it comes completely off in one piece. Looks pretty cool without the bonnet on , in hot rod style !

Hello everyone, placed my order 9/21/13 with a build week 48. Dealer stated it might not be built till Jan of 14. I'm in the Midwestern US so it will be cold and snowy when it arrives.

Hi Strahorn, welcome to the forum. Make sure you keep us all updated on your order. Believe it or not we do also get excited when folks order and take delivery of their new and per-owned Morgans.
