I took one look at this post and the pictures and went a little nuts. point. click. I installed them last week and it was every bit as easy as Blake described. It's a great look for a modern car which the M3W is and the beam pattern at night is the best! By far some of the best lamps I've ever used and none of my cars in the past went without significant upgrades since the stock lamps were found wanting.
I have always lived in the middle of the country and we don't even have a stop light. Maybe a half dozen streetlights in town but it is dark here and I hate hitting deer! Hitting one of them, or worse a moose, would be a really bad day, probably terminal.

So glad you love them Michael. Was such a great addition to my trike as well. Would love to see pics of them on yours.
My new buddy with the ace cycle car that I posted a while back actually just put them on his after seeing mine. They look great on his from the pic he sent me.
As for the compensator...ugh. More details and pics next week after I head down to see it on Friday.

Okay, I'll arm myself with some patience about that.

Sounds nasty and I am concerned about my hearing. These cars are such a joy and a challenge! The joys are diving into a corner and drifting through with a very elegant path. The challenges are totally unpredictable! insert sighs of happiness here.

There was virtually nothing left of the teeth on my rear sprocket, since being replaced there's no more screaching and a lot less 'dust' under the rear cover . Going back to headlights...one of mine keeps working loose, have used loads of loctite on the nut but it still rotates below the bowl, any suggestions ? Also 3 of the rivetts under the headlamp bowls had dropped out! 2 on one side and one one the other.

Those look good, I also like the P700 headlamps, I've been wondering about getting some . What make are the LEDs ? I saw something similar on the Oberon stand at the bike show .

On the loose headlight issue.
There is on the headlight stalk a small hex grub screw try tightening this? Worked on mine.

There are a few of us who have been considering putting the P700's on our trads. They do rather finish it off nicely.
