Ah, beer goggles of Devon then?

Sh*t now you tell me some mate you are . They used to ring the church bells in our haunts to warn the fathers to lock their daughters away as we strode out to get them all ( so we thought ) . We went to the local disco's , coffee bars, dance halls . But it was like we had the pox , once went out with a chicken plucker . The girls used to put their hand bags on the floor and dance round them . After a failed chat up line my mate and me used to dance with each other and ask to borrow their hand bag , it was our sly chat up line . Then crawl home in the early hours sleep it off ready for the next night .

I didn't grow up in Norfolk but I live here now and the girls are just lovely however, 'er indoors won't let me look.
On the subject of moving from kit cars to Morgans, some of us "do different" as they say in Norfolk.

Although not strickly a kit, I moved from two Morgans to a Suffolk Jaguar SS100 which is bloody great. The sound of the 4.2 XK engine on a sunny morning driving up to the N.Coast is one of the worlds great noises!
The down side is that it cost the same as the two Morgans but I'm here for a good time not a long time!

We get a few at Prescott Reg, particularly on the Jaguar club day. They do look quite stunning! smile

I'm a big admirer of the Suffolk ss100. I quite fancy building one when I retire & time is hanging heavy on my hands.

You have a Suffolk SS? Lucky chap.

I was looking closely at one at Goodwood this year, I think they look gorgeous. They seem very well built and I'm told they drive well too.

I could be tempted. smile
