I was contacted about two months ago through my MogRod site from someone at MOG Magazine (I'll leave names out of this post for their privacy). They were interested in hearing about my MogRod project for their magazine, and also about my '70 Barracuda restoration for American Car Magazine.

After a few back and forth emails regarding both cars with the initial contact and one from American Car Magazine, communication's gone silent. I don't need or want to be a bother to them since I'm sure it's a small staff for both magazines, but I hadn't heard back from anyone for almost a month.

I was curious if any of you have been in contact with either magazine before for articles about your ride(s) or such? They'd asked for photos as well as info, the latter of which I'd already provided some, and the former I'd stated that I'd be more than willing to provide original high resolution images for them to use. I'd like to follow up as it's a very exciting proposition to me to potentially have both of my project vehicles featured in articles in UK-based publications.

They are a small organisation - but I`ve always had a swift response. I would send a reminder if I were you asking if they are still interested or whether that particular slot in the mag. is no longer needed.

Hi flaagan.

MOG Magazine have been very good to me publishing detailed reports on my two Fund Raising Trips (Blog Links Below)

The latest report is featured in the September issue.

Email either Editor Julia or Deputy Editor Claire and I am sure they will only be interested in your interesting project.

Good to know everyone thinks so highly of them! I'd recently sent a follow-up email to Claire to check in with her, and from what Jays has informed of me today as to how busy they are, I'll leave it at that for the time being. As buried with work as I've been lately, I can appreciate not harassing someone over something like this. I'll keep you informed as to how things proceed. wine

I have had contact with MOGmag on a number of occasions regarding photos and potential content from this part of the world. They have always shown themselves to be professional and very atuned to things Morgan.

Your project sounds interesting. Good luck with it and I look forward to reading the detail. sunny

Claire is on this site and uses the name: C_Packer

I know they have a lot on their plates at the moment but both Claire and Julia are great people to deal with.
