i have not ordered mine yet im still in negotiations with the wife, we have a 9 and 4 year old so going slow. but does anyone have photoshop abilities to put together what a plexi glass canopy would look like on the 3 wheeler. i feel with how it looks a airplane like canopy would look good and give some protection from elements

I recently saw a Tornado plexigl;ass canopy for sale at Anchor supplies in Ripley - not sure of the cost - but I think around £200.
Was tempted to buy it as a cloche for the garden - one up on the neighbours!!

Only problem is that any adult driving or as a passenger has to have their elbows outside the canopy! The other thing is that Morgan specifically recommends that no children ever occupy this beast! Yes, you have a seat belt but the dash is made of metal and totally unforgiving. Only people who are totally responsible for their fate should be in this.

Other side note is that the few times I have been caught out in weather it has been a learning experience. If you need a plexiglass bubble to protect you then you need windshield wipers as well. Then you need a regular car. This is not a regular car. Nor should it be.

My two cents. In my honest opinion. Think on this.

i know the morgan 3 is a side by side so a canopy cant be long and sleek, but i still think it could look relatively sleek if it followed the body shape.

that is a good thought michael i was thinking of something that could be taken
off and on fast. on those times when you really want to go for a ride but its raining like crazy. and treated with rain x the water will just slide off the screen no need for wipers. I'm in south carolina in the states and havent had a ride in the 3 wheeler yet. a dealer in charlotte will be getting there demo soon so hope to at least sit in one soon

Perhaps the point is being missed here. Have you ridden one? Smelled the smells? Felt the wind? It is about the Experience more than anything else. It really is about recreating the experience of flying in a World War 1 biplane without leaving the ground! If you take that away then what's the point?

we have had allot of rain this summer so i have been thinking of a little protection from elements. not something that would stay on the morgan just something to use on rare occasions. really something to make it a year round toy to ride

again michael great point i know its about the driving experience in the morgan and sadly i haven't driven one yet. and its raw nature is what i like about this motor but at same time when spending 45,000 dollars on something thats really a weekend toy i was just thinking of any option that makes every weekend drivable. and really was just hoping to see what it would look like with a canopy
